SMPC youth ministry exists to cultivate a living faith, a lifelong Christian walk, and a love for Christ’s church in the youth of Spring Meadows Presbyterian Church.
Our youth ministry is designed to pour into the lives of middle and high school students (grades 6-12). We believe that Christians mature in their faith through discipleship, so our desire is for mature Christians to come alongside our youth to disciple them.

Sunday school
Every Sunday, before our worship service, our middle and high school students gather for Sunday School from 9:30–10:15 AM. Sunday School lessons are centered around Scripture, with the goal of teaching students what we believe and why we believe it. Currently, our students are studying the Westminster Shorter Catechism. This is a great opportunity for students to discuss the Bible’s answers to life’s most important questions.
Mid-week Bible Study
In addition to weekly Sunday School classes, we get together regularly for a Youth Bible Study. This is a time of fellowship, fun, discipleship, and diving deeper into biblical doctrine. Our current series is Glorify and Enjoy God, where we will learn how we can be more engaged in public worship, more attentive while listening to sermons, and more intentional in worship throughout the week. There’s always time for plenty of questions and discussion–it’s never too late to join!
Our Youth Bible Study meets every Wednesday from 5:00–6:30PM, with separate (but simultaneous) lessons for middle school (grades 6–8) and high school (grades 9–12). Dinner is provided.
Southwest Reformed Youth Camp
In recent years, some of our youth have attended the Southwest Reformed Youth Camp. This is an opportunity for students to deepen their knowledge of Jesus and God’s Word, as well as grow in their faith, hope, and love. But this youth camp is unique, since it gives students the chance to meet and build friendships with Christians from other Reformed and Presbyterian churches in our region.
